Oddsmakers would favor Omaha.

The NFL would envy baseball's parity.
Besides maybe Texas, there is no scary team in baseball. However, it is a surprise any time the Cubs or Padres win a game.

The Twins don't like making changes but a change in Management may help them for the future.

The Cubs leaders in Saves, Dolis and Marmol have ERA's of 5.68 and 6.75

Tim Lincecum has given up 43 earned runs.
Gio Gonzalez has given up 40 hits.

Ubaldo Jimenez has a 5.31 ERA. A 1.69 WHIP. And has as many earned runs as strikeouts (37)
Yet, Jimenez has six wins. This hobby ain't fair.

Who do you want your hitters to face?
Ervin Santana for one.
Santana leads the Majors in home runs allowed with 16.
He's also 12th in most SB's allowed.

Mat Latos is another.
He's in the top 10 in home runs allowed and leads the Majors in 'giving up' 11 stolen bases.

The Latos for Alonso/Grandal trade has proven to be the worst trade for these players.
Who knows how much money it'll cost these players by cutting their numbers.
For those taking Latos in drafts and having the bravado that Latos will be good no matter where he pitches....think again.
