Ben Sheets underwent surgery after the season to repair a herniated disc in his lower back . These things are never a good sign. Could he miss opening day? You've been warned. Draft him and you could be a $1,250 donation

Yep, and he pitched 1/2 the year with that herniated disc. No way he can match those numbers with a healthy back. ;)

My thinking is he did it with an ailing back, and if David Wells can come back and pitch effectivley after back surgery, Sheets should be up to the task. What I really want to know is how do you put up numbers like that and go 12-14.

Gordon...If there ends up being a $650 NY Mixed League and you are in it with me, I'll be happy if you choose not to bid on Sheets
