I was curious on how people set their lineups when they know a player is getting a day off on Friday vs. A sub who may play all 3 but you won't know til lineups are locked.

Example. I have howie Kendrick who's getting the day off today, I have Chris Getz ( I know) who may get all 3 may not.I am lagging in steals. I'm probably sticking with howie but wanted to know others opinion if they would roll the dice with Getz.

i look at pitching matchups and possible platoon issues. i look at the weather forecast. i look at the how each player is trending.

in your case, i would stay with howie.
