Okay, if you were a fantasy league commissioner, would you approve this tradeAbsolutely. You can't police stupidity.

Although I am in one Dynasty league, I dislike them. The real MLB is a huge salary-capped, contract-driven Dynasty league. I'm not sure any trade involving a player going into his last contract year could ever be disallowed especially when prospect and controlled players are involved.



Could the Braves gotten more - maybe. Remember, there has to be a trading partner who is willing to give away prospective talent for a single year. Only teams with very high budgets and no need to worry if the one-year acquisition fails would be trading partners. That makes for a very small pool. Eliminate the west coast and that pool further diminishes. Add to that the Braves likely preference to trade him out of the division and you really get a small pool.
