keeper question

Post by edelman24 » Wed Feb 23, 2005 4:23 am

I'm in a 10 team 5 x 5 normal snake draft format keeper league, and I can keep 3 guys. This is a long-term keeper league with no restrictions on how long you can keep a player, so if anyone wants to give their two cents I'd appreciate it. Thanks

I can keep (3) .

Well, two cents ain't worth much these days, but my particular opinion would be to keep Arod, Tex, and Crawford. You said long term and those three will keep you going for a while as opposed to a couple of creaky old pitchers who are a few years away from relying on Depends instead of the bullpen for relief.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
