You can't run away with this contest.

I'm cooking up a new strategy:

Marty MGBS109 Thanks Marty - Good luck to you, too.

I'm counting on the BB plan... Berkman rounding into form and Bonds playing at some point.

Well, that and Halladay only having a bruise, Prior back strong and dominating in the 2nd half, etc., etc.

Just a few items I need ;)

Dave, Keep those pics coming, just great stuff. In every draft there is at least one round where you really torment yourself over two guys that you'd really like to have, so you'll pick one and hope you've made the right decision. For me, it was the 5th round when I wanted both Matsui and Patterson, lets just say that I am very happy with Matsui. Anyways, was the Bonds pick in the second round a "no brainer" because of his past or was there another guy that you had to wrestle over in your mind before settling on Barry.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

I was wrestling over Sheffield or Barry... took Barry and then (I felt) stole Sheffield on the bounceback pick the next round. I had to take chances that have all been solid so far after Barry. Berkman, Prior, Halladay... all could have been 2nd/3rd round quality and have thankfully produced.

The ONE thing that is crushing my team was saying 'Takatsu' in round 9. Had I said 'Bob Wickman' (I had them tied on my rankings) then those extra saves would have me in the top 5-8 overall.

It's been a fun first half, hopefully the 2nd part is just as enjoyable.

Good luck holding on, Dan ;)

Not "bad", just stating a fact. Thanks for your concern, none of those symptoms have manifested themselves as yet.
