Trade Question

Post by Bobby J » Thu Jun 16, 2005 10:39 am

This obviuosly does not apply to NFBC. AL only, 10 team, auction keeper league. I traded Cantu ($8a), Jeremy Reed ($8a), Buck ($10b) and Kendall ($11b) and got in return Varitek & Posada (both free agents after this year), Hidalgo ($21a) and Soriano ($46a). Obviously I am playing to win this year and the team I am trading with is looking towards the future. What do you think about the trade??

IF i was in this league i would quit. DID you have to be so unfair ,its not even close.

PLUS the keepers in a 10 league suck. BUCK wouldnt even go a buck. CANTU AND REED shouldnt go much more than 8 in a 10 team league. DID you make the trade with a relative. YOU should be ashamed of your self if im seeing this right.

Trades like this backs up the NFBC's no trade policy. A stinker of a trade.

Boy

The poor guy probobly was trying to brag to us about what a good deal he got. He wasn't expecting the truth.

Dude, if you are playing in a money league, congratulations. You ought to win with deals like that. Unfortunately, keeper leagues that allow such unbalanced trades have a lot of turnover. Expect 3-4 owners to bail before next year.
