Free Agent Guidelines For 2008

I am not sure a 40 man roster is the answer to make NFBC better. I think we should leave the roster size as is but allow us to pick up any minor leaguer we want when ever we want and not just players that were picked in the draft. I think this rewards the players that follow baseball and at the same time puts more pressure on the team managers to make a call between a future prospect and a player that might otherwise be drafted. I see this as making the FA pool deeper because a number of the minor league prospects will take up NFBC roster spots that would otherwise be occupied by ML bench players and this will allow for more talent in the FA pool when injuries strike.
