Correct. After 5 drafts are completed which usually are DCs.

I see the ADP is Live, but looks like some of the Averages are wrong in the ADP Column. Thanks for getting it going though.

I believe in the past, you could sort ADP by MLB teams. I found that very helpful. Thanks.

There are players missing in the ADP list, likely it is those guys who didn't play in the majors last year:

Vlad Jr.
Luzardo
Alonso
Kikuchi
Whitley

We will get all players corrected and listed. The rankings at playnfbc.com/adp also need a tweak.

The date ranges in the ADP page does what kind of query? I assume it is full data for leagues that started in between those dates inclusive and the league has finished.

So if I choose 12/1 - 12/31 as the date range, a league that began on 11/30 would not be in the results.

Also, a league started on 12/2 but hasn’t finished yet would also not be in the results.

Is this correct?

Michael, the "query" date is the START of the draft.
So correct, that the one that started on 11/30 would NOT be included. The one that started on 12/2 is not included yet in your scenario (because it is not done), but will be included at its finish regardless of if it finishes after the 12/31 query end date...

All drafted players are now showing up in the NFBC's ADP. The list is now complete at playnfbc.com.

Thanks; however can someone explain how the adp is caluclated for players who are not taken in every draft?

For example, Christian Villanueva was taken in one draft from 11/18 - 11/29. He was taken at pick 493 of that draft, yet his ADP is 472.00??
Alen Hanson was taken in 2 drafts during the same time period, his early pick was at 464 and his late pick was 486 (both picks were made before Villanueva was taken) ; yet his adp is 475.00...LATER than Christian Villanueva?!?!?

There appears to be some faulty adp logic for players not selected in every draft. i guess anything to confuse the sheep is a bonus for the sharks!! thanks!!

To add to this, for whatever reason those picks chosen only once or twice are sitting between ~490 to 660. There seems to be something wrong with the logic. If Chance Adams or Tim Hill have been picked once as pick #725, their ADP should not be in the 400's.

It may have something to do with the fact that in the draft once you get to ADP 505 every player there after stays at ADP 505. Not sure why that is either...

From IT: if a player isn’t taken in a draft, the player is assigned Total Picks in draft + 1. Same as the way we handled NFFC / MFL 10s last year.

If you look at draft champion leagues completed so far, there are a total of 9 completed drafts. Hector Velazquez was taken in only one draft. his pick# was 617. if the IT dept was correct and he was assigned pick # 751 (750+1) in the other 8 drafts, how could his adp = 469.44 as per the nfbc adp site?

according to my math, his adp should be 736.11.

Greg,

For every time a player is undrafted it is currently assigning him the value of 450 + 1 which might make sense if all our drafts were 30 round 15 team drafts.

One other thing I just noticed:

https://playnfbc.shgn.com/adp on the ADP link it shows Clint Frazier with a ADP of 487.5 but in my draft we are currently doing the ADP is 409.6.

Im guessing the first one is correct, but it would be nice if they were the same.

You are correct, we were making that player 451 instead of 751 when he went undrafted right now. We have changed all drafts now to list an undrafted player at 751 for those leagues. You will see the changes for those ADP numbers once we re-run ADP later today. Thanks for catching this.

I can ask about this, but just so you know the ADP in the draft room is the ADP for that player at the start of your draft. The ADP on the site changes with every finished draft, so yes the ADP on our site will continually be different from the ADP in your draft room. That's likely what happened here as ADP numbers change drastically with each finished draft, but if not I'll have IT take a look.
