Ohtani bats left.
He’s exposing his pitching arm to fastballs every time he hits.
How long will the Angels allow him to keep being a hitter after his first HBP that sends him for an MRI on his pitching hand/wrist/elbow?
Disaster waiting to happen.

still a weekly league so shohei and the 10-12 ab he gets a week aren't likely going to make a splash as a Bat as a part time DH and you wouldn't be able to slot him in at pitcher if you did so i think they handled this fine. by seasons end shohei will not be a top 250 ranked hitter, likely not a top 500 hitter. .270 with 15 homers in 300 AB is about right i would say

Numbers of players last season with 300+AB's, 15+HR's, .270+BA?

Doesn't mean Ohtani is a top 79 guy, but I think he's safely in the top 500

This!!!! I think I'm a top 500 hitter sitting on the couch! In what world is .270 with 15 hrs not a top 500 hitter?
