What do the experts out here think of this team? I think we have some old dudes and definite power concerns and injury concerns but there are a lot of injury risks out there this year:

Ryan Howard

Hanley Ramirez

Delmon Young

Howie Kendrick

Magglio Ordonez

Jd Drew

Morgan Ensberg

Carlos Quentin

Aj Piernyzski

Shane Victorino

Brandon Inge

Rod Barajas

Andy Marte

Luis Gonzalez

Sean Casey

Nick Punto

Craig Wilson

Cliff Floyd (yikes)

Yuniesky Betancourt

Carpenter

Wagner

Schilling

Verlander

Randy Johnson

Wang

Rogers

Justin Duscherer

Jaret Wright

Matt Morris

Now I know a lot has to go right for this team but I always go with a ton of upside guys so I wanted to change that a little bit I guess now I have to pray for health and lots of new waiver wire adds....fire away...hahahahahh

Hey MG. That looks pretty good to me...maybe you might want to look at adding some pitching a bit through waiver wire but the offense I like if some of the outfielders there can get some good time due to injury....best of luck to you man...

sran ... I see some high risk-high reward guys. If enough of them pan out, you should be OK. In general, I think I like your IF better than your OF (lots of risk in that OF). I think you'll be just fine in speed, average and probably runs but like you say, will probably look to add some power during the season.

I like the top half of your rotation, and am a little worried about the bottom half. But everyone has their own opinions when it comes to Ps and in this department a lot of it comes down to luck as well. You'll need Izzy to be healthy and good.

I think I like Marty's team a little better, but it's close. Definitely like the SPs and probably the IF too. I think I like sran's OF a little better for the upside. I'm a bit worried about Marty's closers after Ryan.

Here's mine for the hell of it (5th pick)

OF C. Crawford (1)

OF M. Ramirez (2)

OF K. Lofton (14)

OF J. Hermida (15)

OF A. Rowand (16)

1B J. Morneau (3)

3B A. Gordon (8)

CI M. Ensberg (17)

2B J. Lugo (6)

SS C. Guillen (5)

MI K. Matsui (22)

C Pudge (10)

C G. Zaun (21)

U W. Betemit (23)

SP Felix (7)

SP S. Olsen (11)

SP M. Mussina (12)

SP D. Bush (13)

SP R. Clemens (19)

SP V. Padilla (20)

RP B. Wagner (4)

RP B. Wickman (9)

RP A. Otsuka (14)

Reserves

SP Z. Greinke

RP B. Howry

OF J. Hamilton

OF A. Lind

2B M. DeRosa

RP Al Reyes

SP J. Soria (a pure flier)

Fire away.

King Felix? I love when the guy that drafts him refers to him as King Felix. He has been the King of Pain to his fantasy owners. Until he proves other wise lets refer to him as peasant boy Felix.

Well, Jupiter, if nothing else I'm setting him up for a demotion. Now, if he had a shorter name he would have saved me the trouble. After all, I went with R. Clemens as opposed to "the Rocket". ;)

I would have preferred you used "The Rocket" You can call Clemens what ever you want, he earned it. Like I said before,Felix did nothing to deserve the nickname The King. Funny thing is I just referred to him by his first name (Felix) and everyone knows who I am talking about. The Hype is out of control!

You know, as a matter of principle you're right. Perhaps "The King" came from buffet-line prowess. Time will eventually tell whether he ever earns it on the field. I think he will one day. For my sake, I hope he begins the process this season.

Puddle of Nud - Not bad, the Infield is a bit shaky (besides Arod), but the outfield/dh should cover you. The SPs are good, and while your 2nd closer is a bit high risk, atleast you have one (unlike us!). I think the speed is going to be a little low.

Nice work,

Spy

Sran - I agree with MGMMarty - you will need to find another source of power - perhaps Craig Wilson will contribute. Saves will also be an issue (isn't it always?). I think you have a solid set of SP to build around.

thanks spy and MGB...yeah hoping to get some power out of ensberg and wilson can maybe seize the job...I doubt wilson getting it but you never know...I have some doubts about Thorman....If Ensberg in the 13th round can help us that would be a big boost....and definitely need to look for that third closer....
