Looks like the weather in Tampa will be warm enough for me to unleash my fish-belly winter white legs in shorts for the first time this year...sweeeeet! :D
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

That's perfect...I hope it stays this way!

2005 was raining...so the memory of the trip...although great...was rainy and indoors.

One sunny weekend (and some success) for the NFBC and I could become a lifer!

Shorts..."check!"

Q
[/QUOTE]The forecasts were taken from The Weather Channel's website (weather.com) on Monday. The Friday forecast seems a lot like today's weather. Thus, they weren't entirely wrong -- just a day off.

I posted the above mid-day Monday. Here's the updated forecast, with New York obviously taking a turn for the worse:

New York

Friday 33/30 Wintry Mix

Saturday 36/25 AM Light Wintry Mix

Sunday 37/23 Mostly Cloudy/Wind

Las Vegas

Friday 89/63 Sunny

Saturday 88/62 Sunny

Sunday 88/58 Sunny

Chicago

Friday 39/26 Mostly Sunny

Saturday 41/25 Mostly Sunny

Sunday 39/36 Rain/Snow Showers

Tampa

Friday 76/58 Scattered Thunderstorms

Saturday 70/48 Sunny

Sunday 72/52 Sunny

Additionally, New York has to deal with this:

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM FRIDAY TO 8 AM EDT SATURDAY... ... WINTER STORM WATCH NO LONGER IN EFFECT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN UPTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM FRIDAY TO 8 AM EDT SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

RAIN WILL CHANGE TO A MIXTURE OF SLEET AND SNOW AFTER MIDNIGHT... EVENTUALLY TURNING TO ALL SNOW LATE. ONLY LIGHT SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED BY FRIDAY MORNING...BUT HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP FOR THE EARLY FRIDAY MORNING COMMUTE AS TEMPERATURES FALL BELOW FREEZING. A MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT...AND MAY TURN OVER TO ALL SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN FOR A PERIOD FRIDAY NIGHT. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL RANGE FROM 6 TO 10 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY BEFORE ACCUMULATING SNOW ENDS SATURDAY MORNING.

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW... SLEET... AND ICE ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

How late will the drafts be running on Friday?

I'm guessing I'll be in Vegas around 2:30 plus check in etc...and was wondering if there will still be drafts/auctions rolling?
