Two simple related question here:
1. Will we be able to make bids on players who were on major league rosters in 2003 but will begin this season on the disabled lists rather than the 25-man roster? (Nomar, for example, if he were available)
2. Will we be able to make bids on players who were not on major league rosters in 2003 or who signed minor league contracts for 2004 but are starting the seaosn on teh disbaled list and not on the 25-man major league roster? Can't think of an example offhand but suppose Jose Lima was placed on the DL by LA - I think he signed a minor league contract.
