KP Expert League Draft 2

We had our second KP Expert League draft of the year on Tuesday. For those interested I had the third pick and Greg picked eighth. The entire draft will be featured in our second issue but here's a look at the first few rounds to whet your appetites.

Interesting that Soriano fell that far - I don't think we have seen that before - and likely not too much in the future either.

funny how solid teams look in a 12-man draft - I've lost all perspective after all these years of NFBC

Johnson's a flyer and Lee is a decent end-of-the-rotation starter. But both are guys who likely could be dropped. As for the relievers, I like Jenks a lot and if Izzy's healthy I'll be very happy there. Weathers was my second-to-last pick as the last closer on the board. I took him just to have a third closer to start the year but I agree he's hardly anything special. I'm not overly concerned about closers since they are so easy to find during the season.
