You guys are too slow.

Doughboys Premature Draftulation 1 has been done a while and the Premature DC is in Round 50.

I've been told to under-promise and over-deliver. I can not tell a lie and yet I've been accused of lying.

I can safely say before Jan. 1st now. ;) That's a month off my previous timeline to Doughboys, so we're making promise.

If I tell you the truth and miss it, then we're idiots. So stay tuned, but also stay ready. We'll have at least two leagues drafting before the birds are cooked.

Is that a Ryan Braun quote? :D

There appears to be some people here who trust Tom and I as much as Ryan Braun, so sure we'll attribute it to him.

I cooked a bird last night in hopes of the draft room opening.
It didn't work.
My wife liked the fact that I cooked. She was happy.
Grandkids too. They all thought it was yummy.
I was miffed and the bird was really pissed off!

My Birthday is tomorrow.
And before the jokes start...dirt is older than me....I didn't know Abner Doubleday...And I did not scout Lou Gehrig.
My wife, as a sign of her love.... or more likely, as a sign of completely giving up on me to my fantasy mistress, told me that the first DC Draft is on her.
Other family members said the second is on them.
Pretty cool.
I didn't have the heart to tell them I've already completed two drafts!

Well, I said before the "birds" are cooked. One bird does not constitute a starting date. Cook another for the Mrs. and we'll talk.

Happy Birthday Dan!! Celebrate 49 today and enjoy the big 5-0 tomorrow!! ;)

I will post as soon as I know for sure. It won't be this weekend, but hopefully before you travel. I'll post as soon as I know more.

Greg, is the delay here an internal getting the draft room ready kind of thing, or is it, let's say, due to external regulatory concerns?

Greg,

I realize that there are powers outside your control that are likely causing this delay and you don't want to give a date when you don't personally have the personal power/ability to see it through, but can you at least provide a little insight into the cause/source of the delay? The silence on the matter is just as frustrating as the delay itself.

It's not external regulatory concerns.

I want to say be ready to draft by the weekend, but I can't say that. Just get your Cheat Sheets ready because I'm signing everyone up once the site is live. Hope soon.

At this point I'm not checking this site every day so when the drafts are ready to begin I hope there will be some time between "We're ready" and "Begin draft".

Okay, if the site goes live in the next 24 hours please don't sign up for Draft Champions 1. I will do that for everyone on this list tomorrow to make sure we get the first 15 owners into that league. I'll personally email everyone before the league is created and make sure we're all on the same page. I'm not positive exactly when the site will go live, but I'm just asking that nobody sign up for these Draft Champions Leagues until we have the first 3 filled with the MB signups.

Thanks. Almost there.

Okay, the site is live. Please let me sign all 15 owners up for Draft Champions 1 first thing tomorrow morning. If all goes well, we can start drafting on Friday at 1 pm ET. Thanks all.

Great news. Does this apply to the Fast DC as well?
