I can't think of a team that has done worse than the Mets protecting great talent.
OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Prior to the season when I first heard about Syndegaard packing on this extra muscle he immediately went on the "do not draft" list in Feb and early March. But as the season got closer and as he looked good in spring I warmed up to him as I have liked him for years and never got him. I drafted him and my team got off to a great start. Not only was it in first place but it just has all the boxes checked. Power, speed, starting pitching, 3 legit closers, hit on a few later draft guys. Than bang, Syndegaard blows up and I go into a clinical depression. Aided by the fact my other NFBC team was in first and lost Marte & Cespedes within the same week. Being a non drinker is tough during times like these.
