Citi Field To Be Host Site of All New York Events
I'll cast a vote for the Westin Times Square. It's on 8th ave @ 42nd street, which means it's easy to access the 7 train (to CitiField) as well as Penn Station for LI folks, the PA Bus Terminal for us NJers, and has cheap-ish parking at the bus terminal as well @ ~$20/day.

I think it's kinda cool that the NFBC coincides with March Madness. Great for you Vegas drafters - although I heard more than a few horror stories about the sportsbook lines this year... Hey... now that I think about it, where were those great MVP Sportbooks 'hostesses' we had a few years back??? Th...

Leading off??? Well.. in the absence of another viable alternative, I guesso. I think it stinks for both Washington and his RBI #s. Still not all that happy that someone queue-napped him on me....

Good luck, Gek. Don't really know you, but:
-You contribute tons to this board
-Your confidence is unsurpassed.. and very entertaining
-You're not in my league
So.. I hope this team wins you the $5K.

Why did I think you were picking 2nd?
Anyways, I think I landed a sick power offense, a little short on legs (~125), and OK pitching. If I thought AGonz was going to last until end of 4, I would have used that 3.2 pick on ARios instead...

Great time, guys. If me and Jantas finish 1-2, EVERYONE will bring Goose to the draft next year...

Im projecting at 125 and I feel like I definitely will need to contribute from the bench and FAAB. I was hoping for more like 150.

Post Main Event Teams Here
Hi, Chris. Best of luck to you, man. Had a very fun, interesting draft. So many nice bats kept falling (imo) and I kept grabbing them. Got caught up and had to scramble for a few cats. Did ok, but hey... thats what FAAB is for NY3 - Pick 2 c - Soto 5 c - Flores 25 1b - AGonzalez 3 2b - AHill 16 ss -...

(2) Stud Catcher strategy?
Can never say it's a bad strategy as I like the 'well balanced roster' as much as anyone, but when I look over your team for power sources, I see Manny and...... well, just Manny.
Lidge at 8.8??? That's grand larceny.

Wright or Pujols?
Im leaning Wright. I pick 2nd, and think that the absence of ARod makes 3B super scarce. I have Wright, Longoria, ARamirez, and then a huge drop. Makes it a hard position to fill - especially with a 5-tool, 'play everyday' guy like Wright.
Then again, I may flip-flop by the weekend.

Given his Clemens-like offseason preparation, Mark is going to do a 'Mission Impossible' at Dr. Philippon's residence to get the real scoop on ARod.

I was at #6 last year by choice, and the year before I liked the back at #12. This year I like the 'latter end' of the top 5.. er, 4. Would like to get a piece of the consensus top tier, but don't like to sit in #1 or #2 because of the long wait. Afraid to get killed by a run on a position. I tend t...
