Tampa League 3 in the top spot
Obviously too early to reach any conclusions, but today's standings have ALL 3 of the Tampa Leagues as the Top 3 Overall (2-3-1), ahead of the "Other" 19 Leagues.

Fair Trade??? Opinions Wanted....
Would trading an approximate $12-$15 player (Greene) for an approximate $17-$20 player (Edmonds) be considered soooo lopsided that a difference of around $5 (max) would undermine a league with $3120 in total salaries? I guess I don't understand the basis of a veto unless there was evidence of collus...

After 3 years why does STATS still Blow??
Let's see, how many Alex Gonzalez' Brian Andersons, Chris Youngs, and Luis Gonzalez' are there again? Plus about 22 guys named Hernandez, and we expect every person in the system to be perfect when grabbing labels in 10 seconds or less? Amazing how 99.5% of the things done right get no credit. Hats ...

Did KDS Work In The NFBC This Year?
Just thinking about what competitions in the universe have the most elements of "luck" and "skill" and I always come back to CHESS as perhaps being the game that is pretty much 100% skill. Or is it? Even in chess, you have a random draw to see who plays with the white pieces and who gets the black p...

Did KDS Work In The NFBC This Year?
This is an interesting debate. I'm curious as to what the pro-BBDS advocates would use as a strategy if BBDS was adopted? Would you spend $50, $100 or more to get a specific spot (#1 or #8?). Do you see the advantage of one spot, say the middle, worth "one whole player" and hence would bid $300+, as...

Did KDS Work In The NFBC This Year?
RE: BBDS supposedly an improvement vs. KDS. You already have the random draw of which league you're put in, whether BBDS or KDS, right? That randomness is "necessary" to "keep it fair", right? So why is randomness in draft positions now suddenly "evil" or "unfair to some owners"? See the hypocrisy? ...

View All League Drafts And ADPs Now
The goal of the event is to score the most points in categories, not to score the most points vs. the ADP. So if "everybody else" was taking Barry Bonds at #80 and I'm picking at #100, and Bonds is available in my league, and I don't want Bonds due to his injury risk, then taking Bonds just to "book...

Thanks, Greg, for a great experience. Regarding power, laptops, boards, overhearing picks, etc.
Just keep it the same for everybody.
You and KP have done an excellent job and I don't have any complaints. If you just repeat 2006 in 2007 I'll be fine.

Tom, wondering if/when this list will be updated. Still showing the Feb 18-28 data with 511 drafts. Will this link change or will there be a different link? Thanks in advance.

Greg and Tom, As a guy who joined (and paid for) a couple of Satellite Drafts with the expectation that the results would be held CONFIDENTIALLY, I would oppose the release of satellite draft results, even if summarized, by MDC. If NFBC wants to offer a "pay per view" feature of some sort in 2007, t...

Thank You Greg, for sticking with the 15 Teams. I'm all for creative problems solving when there's a need and getting input from others, but going from 15 to 18 is just too significant of a change to make this late in the process. I have to imagine that by 2007 there will be enough interest and publ...
