Search Function and Position Eligibility Data

Thank you Greg. One other item that I am sure is probably mentioned somewhere--we have the ability to track free agents, which show up on the home page. However, you can not bid on the players from that link, which in some ways defeats the track player list. Being able to bid from the tracked player...

Search Function and Position Eligibility Data

Is there going to be a search function added to the list of available free agents? That would be helpful.

Also, when you click on a player, it shows 2010 stats, but 2009 data for games played by position. Would be helpful if that was corrected as well!

Last year rankings

In addition to the results from 2010 and access to the prior teams, this information used to be available for prior years as well.

It would also show where you finished in a given year, etc.

Is this information coming back as well? I hope so.

Agree with the overall leaderboard by category and time period--great that this is coming.

Also, are we going to be able to view the rosters of teams in the main event that are not in our league?

Rosters of Teams in Overal Standings

Another question--unrelated, but I'll put it here also.

In the past, on the overall leaderboard, it also showed the overall leader for the current week. Is this being added?

Rosters of Teams in Overal Standings

Are these going to be viewable to all teams?

I have tried 4 different times to look at the rosters of the weekly winner, or the overall leaders, and they aren't visible.

On the flip of the terrible bid--we bid 157 on Holland today, runner up bid was 157. We must have been lower seed, because we got Holland.

Is there any way to view the rosters of the other teams in the main event that are not in your league?

Is this just temporarily down?

"Just a heads up that you can now bid from the Watch List. This was added tonight. You can also now bid on players (if available) from the Probable Pitchers page. We are working on that page now and trying to get probable pitchers two weeks in advance. Right now the data is just one week in advance....

Agreed--this is the feature that I would most like to see added. Some sort of watch list or tracking for free agents so you don't have to search the full list.

Enhanced Free Agent Page Is Now Live

Just one suggestion in case it hasn't been mentioned:

There should be the option to add players to a watch list without having to bid on them. That way, won't have to search the entire list over and over. I couldn't locate a way to tag players for future reference.

"Crawford, M.Ramirez, B.Abreau"

Seriously, what kind of league was this? How on earth do you end up with all 3 of these guys?

In our league, Crawford went 5, Abreu 26, and Manny 27.

Johan Santana - First Round Blunder?

Very interesting thread--we debated this long and hard the night before the draft, as we were also drafting in the 5 slot. We ended up taking Johann, and were very worried about our offense and speed going forward. Here is hour our team shook out: P J. Santana P. J. Peavy P. R. Harden P. A. Reyes P....

Draft Spots For Main Event Friday Morning!!

"Although it looks like only Chicago will have entirely full leagues, Chicago and Las Vegas should have 10 teams each in those final leagues, so we'll be in good shape." 375 teams is 25 full leagues, but I don't understand the above. How can a league not have 15 teams? Are the other teams going to b...

BEF-- I haven't thought to much about that, but if that VICKROY system was used, we would have saved $421 on our bid! There wouldn't have been much strategy at all for us. In determining out bid, we looked at the rosters of the owners with the most funds to bid, and tried to guess as to whether they...

New York Times Story On Fantasy Lawsuit

That was great Greg--

I thought it must be new, because I had never heard of MLBAM. It appears then, if I understood correctly, that the MLBPA sold the rights to essentially the league, and work in partnership with the league on the licensing of certain products.
