Quick question:
In the Diamond challenge will we be able to adjust our hitting lineup on the first Friday of the season or are the lineups locked for the Thursday to Sunday period on opening day ?

Let’s fill this thing up guys. We’ve got nothing else to do or watch, so we might as well be drafting . It’s a level playing field, we all have the same information. Are you in ?

Re: Leagues already drafted
Really it’s no different than if the season had started on time in terms of previous drafts. Some drafts occurred in December and January where Sale and Judge were early round picks.......now they are hurt.......that’s the risk you take when you draft in the off season.

Las Vegas Spring Training Games
Very nice of the Cubs and Indians to schedule a pair of spring training games in Las Vegas on the first weekend of NFBC drafts: March 17 at 4:00 and March 18 at 1:00.......sounds like a fun way to relax after the Main Event on Saturday.

Does anyone know why Brian Shaw was the winning pitcher last night instead of Andrew Miller? By any measure, Miller was the more "effective" pitcher.........

I just checked Roster Resource. It shows Bradley platooning with Young, and Betts playing full time. Much ado about nothing.

Re: Monday Live Chat With Greg & Tom
I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question, but I want to make sure I am clear on when the week 1 lineups lock. There are four games on Sunday, April 3. Will the lineups for those 8 teams lock for the week when their games start, or is this a "free" game where we can see how our players do, then...

Re: RIP To Greg's Mother
That's a beautiful post Greg. It gives me pause to reflect on my own mom, who passed away from cancer three years ago at the age of 87. There's not a day goes by that I don't think of her. At least be secure in the knowledge that she will never really be gone, she will be with you every day of your ...

Re: Greg & Tom In Tout Wars Draft Tonight 8 pm ET
There must have been a lot of liquor flowing at that draft last night.........Marcus Semien in the 8th round and Erik Aybar in the 18th??.........Semien's ADP in the NFBC is 296 and he went at pick 118.........178 spots "early"...........Aybar's ADP is 204 and he went at pick 266.......62 picks "lat...

Maybe I'm showing my age, but any of you young baseball fans who haven't seen "Bang the Drum Slowly" from 1973.........Robert De Niro is terrific as a dim-witted catcher, and for my money it is the best baseball movie of all time.......and for laughs, pretty tough to beat Walter Matthau in "The Bad ...

Just wondering............
Based upon previous years' standings, what would you use for statistical drafting targets for a 15 team main event league? What about the Primetime 12 team league?

Josh Harrison Position Eligibility
Hi, Guys: Can't wait to get back into the NFBC in Vegas after a three-year absence. I have a question regarding the position eligibility for Josh Harrison. In 2014 he played 72 games at 3B, 52 in the OF, 17 at 2B and 8 at SS. Obviously he qualifies at 3B and OF, and not 2B or SS, but my question is:...

Guys, it looks like I'm going to be a rich man at the end of the season.......sign up here for your 20/1 odds........but the over/under for Halladay is 14 wins, as stated in Baseball Prospectus, not 14.5........so 14 is a push.........while we're at it, I'll offer the same 20/1 odds that there are m...

Russel, you hit the nail on the head! How can Baseball Prospectus get away with publishing such garbage?
