What Should We Do For Five-Year Members?
Is this recognition for members who have been in from the beginning or for all members who reach their 5 consecutive year in the NFBC? I did like the "Charter Member" idea for those who have been involved since the onset. Although any 5 year member should get some kind of mention since many did not ...

How true, I think I downed a 12 pack last night and my hitting staff drowned in it along with me.

Fantasy Baseball is Just Like a Round of Golf
In golf, you're driving well, hitting irons great, chipping like a champ :D and then you find that can't make a putt to save your behind :( . In FB, it seems that when the pitching is going strong, the hitting is dead and as usual, vice versa. Just a morning of venting I suppose. Dogs

They also said if it was not available, to contact them by phone or internet chat to resolve. Hoping that they're not lying t...

Chicago League 1
Curious what everyone in Chi 1 thinks of the team selections/draft choices/team strength(s)/Bad Picks/Great Picks etc. Just trying to promote some interaction amongst the league participants and get this forum off the ground before the start of the season. In general I thought Chi 1 was a very prepa...

First week
I seem to recall, last year that the season started on a Sunday and in the stats, it was listed as Week 0. This season it is listed as Sunday 4/1 through Sunday 4/1. So I believe it is the same as last year. If that is the case then you would need to set your lineup, (if you have Sunday players), 5 ...

Things I saw on Draft Day
Chris Young OF going in the 5th round, pick 4!
Thought that was really, really early even with his upside potential.
Must of really wanted him I'm guessing.

I believe a TV with an HDMI port will allow you to plug your laptop into the TV and watch from there. Saw that on a forum somewhere about a month ago. I just called my cable company, (comcast), and they said it would be available in about a week. I thought the Direct TV takover didn't start till' 08...

Could this strategy work?????
I think that even if half of your offense performs over projections, (which is very possible), and the other half simply meets projections that your offense will have no chance to compete in any category. More simply put, there is just not much of any category anchors for the categories you are tryi...

Count me in for Tampa as well Greg. Tampa, Orlando, oh hell, anywhere in the warm south is fine by me. Vacations can be tailored to suit.

Major League Bombing Here! Michael Young @ 13 Rnd 1 and Juan Pierre @ 18 in Rnd 2. Switch Young for Reyes, (who was available), and Utley for Pierre, (who was available), and I easily add BA Points, an extra 15-20 home runs, 15-20 extra SB's along with added RBI's and R's puts me in the top 3 in Tam...

Best Qualities Down the Stretch
To clarify both points in my previous post: 1- Consistency in the categories that you are dominating and/or competing in. This implies that a fantasy team needs to maintain consistent performance from here to the end of the season with particular emphasis on categories that the team is competetive i...

My views on the original question: Originally posted by bjoak: Based on your experience, what are the best qualiies a fantasy team has down the strtch? To some degree, the best qualities down the stretch would probably vary by what position your team is in. Speaking from my own viewpoint, ( :( being...
