Re: Roster Format
I hope it doesn't keep jumping around every time you click to move someone - it's very hard to track where you are with the page jumping sporadically, especially on the 50-man rosters. This didn't happen last year. Amen KJ. It's more disorienting than watching a shaky-cam movie. I almost forget wha...

Re: FAAB Auction Suggestion
Could we look into having the 7 reserve rounds done immediately following the auction instead of a 2 hour slow draft? You have all 15 owners present and it could be knocked out in 20-30 minutes. That was the format when we used RT Sports and Andy did the reserves in the chat room right after. It wa...

Re: Scheduling Oddity
Getting a flu shot doesn't guarantee you won't get the flu. I've known multiple people that never got sick, ever, not even a cold, then they were sick almost constantly for months the year they got the flu shot. There's a lot of guess work with these shots. These viruses are continually evolving, an...

Thanks to all for the kind words. It was quite a ride. Hopefully we'll be able to return to live drafts in Vegas or the Windy City in 2015 and catch up with some of you. Cheers!

Yeah it didn't seem like you knew him, or even knew of him. And it didn't seem like you knew much about Draftkings and their top notch customer service. And that is why I defended them. Comparing them to WCOFF is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard in my life. Your subtle twisting of what I...

Re: Draft Kings Buys Draft Street
That is your right. And I take exception to the comparison, since I was significantly impacted by both situations. One circumstance was a company lying to customers, making all sorts of false claims, and outright stiffing people. In my case, over a quarter million dollars. The other circumstance is...

Re: Draft Kings Buys Draft Street
I wanted to give both Draft Street and Draft Kings the opportunity to answer questions privately before criticizing either in public forums. After their responses, or lack thereof, I have to say that the takeover, the way it was presented, and the conspicuous lack of information about how the final...

Re: Lineup flexibility
Thanks for the link. What I read there was disappointing. All I can say is that the FBPC figured out how to do it. All of my Cleveland Indian players from the rainout today, I can still move them in and out of my lineup. All rainouts on the first day of each lineup period are that way. I don't unde...

Re: Lineup flexibility
Assuming the technology can be easily implemented, wouldn't it be better if we can move a guy around even if his game already started. It is similar to the flex situation in football which can be moved. Especially with the ability to wait until Tuesday to see if injured guys are in the lineup and w...

Auction League: Rule Change in 2012?
Personally, I love auctions the way they are, but would love them even more if we auctioned off all 30 players. I prefer auctions over snakes for a reason. It allows for a greater amount of control over the players I procure. That all ends after you purchase your first 23 players. Some prefer to fol...

Possible NFBC Rules Changes For 2011

Thanks Greg, this is good that you're looking to improve. I trust that the tech crew will. If the status quo remained I would be forced to cut back on the number of teams next year because, so far the time it takes to get waivers done on all of my teams compared to last year has increased exponentia...

I remember back in 2004/2005 the Baseball Prospectus folk were pretty sure there was no way Mauer could stay at Catcher because of problems with his meniscus.

Just an fyi, it's taking up to 5 minutes each time I load a batch of players for an individual league. Hope this gets fixed soon as projecting that out I'll only be able to finish waiver bids for a couple of leagues at this pace.
