I have got to get some sleep...insomnia is a bitch....
Here is my way of being 'productive' while awake for the night...
1. 10 of the last 20 NL batting leaders have come from the Colorado Rockies...
2. Only one of those hitters was a repeat title winner....Larry Walker
3. The Dodgers haven't had a batting title since Tommy Davis in 1963...
4. Davis won back to back Championships in '62 and '63...
5. Since 2006, the AL has had three repeat Batting Champions...
6. Jose Altuve, Miguel Cabrera, and Joe Mauer...
7. The last seven years, either Altuve or Cabrera have won the batting title in the American League...
8. From 1920-25, Rogers Hornsby led the NL every year in Batting Average
9. Hornsby hit over .400 three times during that span and averaged .396 during that time
10. Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier in 1947 and led the NL in Batting Average in '49
11. Willie Mays led in '54, Aaron in '56 and '58, then Davis in '62 and '63
12. They were the only black players to win NL Batting Championships from '47 through the 60's
13. From 1972-1997, 22 of 26 Batting Champions in the NL, were black men.
14. The American League has had six black Batting Champions...total
15. Barring two years, from 1995 to 2007, at least one hitter from each league reached 50 home runs...

17. Supposedly, stolen bases have slowed down, between Billy Hamilton, Trea Turner, and Dee Gordon, there were 165 thefts...

19. In 1950, 11 players stole double digit bases, only one, (Sam Jethroe) stole more than 20 (35)
20. 85 players stole double digit bases in 2017...
21. 16 players scored 100 runs in 2017...
22. Dee Gordon (2) was the only player to do so with less than 18 homers...
23. Miami was the only team that had three players score 100 runs...
24. Giancarlo Stanton, Dee Gordon, and Christian Yelich
25. 23 hitters had at least 100 rbi...
26. None of those hitters came from the World Champion Astros
27. Marwin Gonzalez, who spent most of his time batting fifth, sixth, or seventh led the Astros with 90...
28. Gonzalez hit .360 with men in scoring position...
29. In 15 at bats with the bases loaded, Gonzalez hit .533 and knocked in 20 of those runs....
30. Gonzalez only hit .204 in April, allowing him to be on the free agent market for many NFBC leagues last year...

42. Corey Knebel threw 76 innings and struck out 126 hitters...
43. Fernando Rodney threw 55 innings and had an ERA of 4.23...
44. Both had 39 Saves...
45. Saves Suck...
46. Jim Johnson had as many Saves as Aroldis Chapman (22)....really
47. Not only that, but Chapman only had eight more strike outs than Johnson...really again
48. Not only that, but Jim Johnson has led baseball in Saves twice (2012-13)
49 Aroldis Chapman has never led the league in Saves...
