Notes and Junk

Post by DOUGHBOYS » Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:52 pm

There is six days left in the season.
Six days!
For the love of what is right in the world, can somebody please tell RotoWorld that at this stage, no player is getting 'shut down', they simply are missing less than the last week of the season.
For pitchers it is one start.
C'mon now.

I'll bet when Matt Wieters wife told him that she was due near the end of September that Wieters didn't think he'd have much going on anyway.

Mike Trout has faded.
Oooooh, I said something bad about Mike Trout and lightning didn't strike.

There's a question as to where Trout will go in next years drafts.
That's not the question.
He'll go in the top five of every draft guaranteed.
Now, tell me where Bryce Harper goes in drafts.
THAT is the question.

The Ryder Cup is refreshing.
Seeing Professional athletes playing only for pride and country.
Hard to find nowadays.

Is there anything more tiresome than a coach or player saying they'll be 100% by spring training?
Their tea leaves are no better than anybody else.

The Milwaukee bullpen are like the Rockies starters.
They both try to limit themselves to 75 pitches.

Is it me, or does Cincinnati look like they clinched too soon?
If there was any team I could play in the first round, bring on the Reds.

GM of the year- Billy Beane
There is no way that team should be there.
Yet, here they are.

Only three 1B went in the first round of the Pre-Mature League draft.
Only three!
When has that happened in the past?
For those that want to follow the first few rounds of that draft, I am updating it under the Pre-Mature thread.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!
