I think the guy is going to be great, but if this was a trading league, I'd be raping someone in similar type fashion.....

How great would it be that somebody pays $16,000 for the card and then the guy turns out to do nothing over his career. And the card is then worth nothing. How many better options are there to spend $16,000!!!

What's crazy/stupid about the card market is that Randy Johnson rookie cards (even PSA 10's) are very, very cheap and have gone down considerably from their highs years ago. Strasburg could very well win a Cy Young in his first 3 years and the card could go down 40%. The card market is always waiting for the next best thing. As much as I think of Strasburg, I actually feel bad for whomever wins that auction.
