Well, not that I really care, but it looks like your pitching wins out overall, but your offense doesn't come close.

Clear edge to the crazy one.

How far you have come Crazy. It used to be you who posted the teams and everyone said you were going to get trounced. Your team kills his IMO, more importantly I think your team has a chance to win you some money. For the record I do not think Jim's team is terrible far from good but not terrible. Crazy's is just better.

Surely somebody must prefer Jim's team?

I don't. I think Crazy's team humps Jim's team 8 or 9 categories out of 10, but doesn't anyone want the other side of this argument?

I easily prefer Crazy's team here. Sorry Jim but he outdrafted you. Should be fun to see who comes out on top.

Take it from a guy who has played against Crazy for a long time-It does not matter if your team is better than his right now- its relevant, because by the end of the year, Crazy will have turned his team over by 75%. And he will still be looking at you in his rear view mirror.

Jim you are seriously lacking power in a 12 team format plus some of your starters are DL moves waiting to happen. If you can improve that with your FAAB money then i give you a punchers chance against that CRAZY FOX!

Probably doesn't bode well for you Jim, but I don't think it's nearly as one sided as the rest of these guys.

You easily have more SB's and better BA. HR's & RBI's could be a problem. If Hafner can be the old Pronk that helps alot, but that's a big IF.

I def like your pitching better than his. Of course health is the key, Burnett & Bedard could be huge for you if they stay healthy.

Obviously you have the edge in closers.

Crazy was able to get some nice SP late. How in the hell the Big Unit & Ervin were available when he says he got them is unbelieveable. I tell you now he doesn't get either of them if I'm in that league.

Good luck to both of you. Now it's time to watch the World Champs defend their title!
Always be closing.

I must be CRAZY, b/c i think i have him here. i like:

1B - tex over fielder

2B - matsu/hudson over weeks

3B - beltre over guillen

U - hafner over lowell

OF - my OF over his OF

P - my pitching staff over his, both starters and closers

he has me at C, SS, MI, CI (and as for CI, the book is still out. we'll see if Voto suffers a sophmore slump, b/c you can mark it down in the record book right now, jacobs is gonna have a HUGE year)....that's it in my book.

as for my power, i've got griffey and cust on bench in OF, and if i find that my power is lacking, i can plug them in and bench speed guys like crisp and lewis.

I think the key to my team is my pitching staff and how it all comes together. My offense looks pretty solid. Right now it looks like I have a solid 5 SP's with 1 stud closer and flier with my 2nd.

Hopefully by May 21st my staff looks like this (in order of effectiveness).

Jake Peavy

John Smoltz

Ervin Santana

Edinson Volquez

Johnny Cueto

Max Scherzer

Clay Buchholz, Jesse Litsch or Randy Johnson

It's nice to have extra strikeout pitchers to double start.

Joe Nathan

Troy Percival

Jensen Lewis when (not if) Kerry Wood blows his arm.

Thanks to all the thumbs up. I have to admit it's an eery/new feeling to have people actually like my team. I've never had that before. I have learned a bunch over the last year and hopefully it shows. I'm not there yet but I'm getting there. Thanks to all the board/conversations with others to help point me in the right direction.

As for Jim, I think I got you covered buddy, but it's a long season. Everybody's team will be so different by October.
