Just an FYI: In our second issue of Fantasy Sports Magazine, we also added dollar values to our Mixed League rankings, using a 15-team NFBC league as our basis. The players are still ranked accordingly, but we have dollar values assigned as well. Just an added touch for that second issue. Enjoy when you get it in about 2 weeks or so.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, there are 90 players up there representing about the first 5 1/2 rounds (excluding of course some of the catchers and DH's). Really makes you think about what you are going to do for the next 24 rounds, don't it!

Home stretch! :D
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

just an fyi - this morning i was buying a paper and saw a copy of Fantasy Baseball Index on the news stand. I opened it up and immediately saw that they have Bedard ranked as the #19 SP.   Needless to say, the magazine fell out of my hands due to all the laughter. "Sheep" will be disappointed following that "Shepard"

Writers strike you know...

BTW - Loved your U-Tube videos. See you moved off Pujols with pick 2.... Reasoning? And, if you like Hanley at 2 (as I do), is Rollins a logical 3 over Reyes, Wright and Pujols? I see Rollins right up there with Hanley. Thoughts?

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Bedard at 19 does seem a tad bit ... low.

That's bold given how, in my opinion, there are so few good ones and McCann is one of the good ones. His play did drop off last season but he's still young enough to bounce back. I think he's one of the few top-tier catchers in fantasy this year.

poodles - hanley was the pick over poodles after poodles injury "news" or "noise" as i put it hit the wire. poodles is still up there, but not over hram. everyone runs the risk of being injured and not playing through it. i only discounted poodles a little bit, but that was enough for hram to be the pick.

"Sheep" will be disappointed following that "Shepard" That's really surprising, given the excellent job the Fantasy Index guys do with football. Must be a different editorial staff -- monkeys with a dartboard, perhaps?
