If Free Agents Aren't Loading, Use Google Chrome

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Apr 01, 2018 9:31 am

One thing we've noticed with the new site is that a lot of our NFBC owners still use Internet Explorer 7 as their default browser. And if you haven't regularly added updates, it's possible that you are having trouble loading the free agent lists on the new NFBC site.

One solution is to download Google Chrome to the computer you're using. It's free and it's faster than IE 7. I think you'll like it for everything you do online, but especially with the NFBC free agent page.

If you have troubles after that, contact me at [email protected]. But try Google Chrome or Firefox and you should be good to go. Thanks and good luck all.

I'm using an IMac and Firefox and everything on the page takes forever to load and live scoring doesn't even load.

Nothing will work right now. Working on a data base and server issue. Hope to be back up soon and will delay FAAB if needed to make sure everyone has time to set their free agent bids tonight. I'll post an update soon.

every browser should work. "Use Google Chrome" was the cry the last time things went to shit a few seasons ago. F Google. If the site doesnt work across every platform then you have done something wrong.

Internet Explorer 7 does not work either with our new site or the NFBC site last year. IF people are still using IE7 then they likely also haven't added updates through the years, so the simple solution is to update a new browser that is up to date. We're not trying to push Google Chrome, but you'll notice that many sites are programmed for that and will work nicely on Chrome and Firefox, especially.
