1099's

Post by Ando » Sat Feb 17, 2018 7:28 am

Putting the finishing touches on gathering my tax documents for '17. I do not have anything from the NFBC. Is this getting mailed to me or do I find it somewhere on the website?

Thanks

Matt, all 1099s were mailed out in late January. This year we are reporting your earnings by subtracting ALL of your entry fees in 2017 from your winnings. If that total was less than $600 you do not receive a 1099. So if you spent $3,000 in 2017 and won $3,500 you would not receive a 1099. Hope that helps.

I did not receive a 1099 and the winnings were definitely above $600.
