Pre-Draft Rank Lists Have Top 100 & Top 250 Buttons

For everyone who does multiple online NFBC drafts, we've tried to simplify the way you can now set your pre-draft rank lists. As you know, the player default list is updated with the latest NFBC ADPs on the day of your draft, so that default list is very current. But if you want your own pre-draft list we've now made it so much easier to set that.

Okay, let's walk through this. If you were to sign up for a $150 Draft Champions league today and it wasn't full yet, you could go to your team page for this league and click on Draft. There you'd see a Pre-Draft Rank Lists on the pulldown. Click on that.

To the right is a big white space and a box that says New List Name. Give this pre-draft list a name like 15-Team Draft Champions.

As soon as you name that list, two buttons will pop up as Top 100 and Top 250. If you click on the Top 250 button, the Top 250 players from the list to the left will move over there. You can then very easily move players up or down with the drag 'n drop technology to create your own list. With the Top 250 from the ADP, it really shouldn't take you more than a few minutes to customize that list. Then save that list. Your Top 250 will flow into the draft room with the remaining 251-800 players. You can add players after the Top 250 individually, but that takes a little more time. We'll look at speeding up that process if demand requests it.

But this is a good tool for owners who know they are doing online drafts in the 10-team, 12-team and 15-team formats. You can easily save three different lists and name them separately. Then when you enter a new Cutline league, you can easily update your Cutline Pre-Draft list and load that into the draft room. Same for the 12-Team Online Championship list that you've created and the 15-teamer Draft Champions or Main Event. Very easy to now load, rank and name these separate lists.

I know that not everyone wants to take the time to create these Pre-Draft lists, but if you are doing multiple drafts of any of these formats, it would seem to make sense to customize your lists. Now we've made it easier to load in the Top 250 players and customize the start of your drafts.

We had this feature in past years on the STATS site, but it took a lot of time to customize those rank lists because players only loaded 100 at a time. This is a more time-saving process by clicking the Top 250 button. Hope this helps and I hope many of you use it to customize your rank lists. Enjoy and thanks.
