20 - When a player is listed in the queue if he’s multi positional not all of the positions that he qualifies for are shown next to his name.

To be fair, I'm not sure there's enough room to list all positions for a player like Marwin Gonzalez, etc.
We can see the multiple positions in the default...

Correct although when you click on him in the Players section, you see his photo and other stats, it shows there. You should not show different information at different locations. Either show where he qualifies or if you can’t fit it, don’t show it.

It would be wonderful if at 1 AM, EST, this would appear in chat...
'Overnight clock has begun, drafter 12 will have 2:52 to pick at 9 A.M.'
Then, the overnight clock counts down....

This way, If drafter 12 picks while the overnight clock is on, the drafters behind him will know that they will have 4 hours in the morning, if not picking at night.

Absolutely love the email settings choices.
I have chosen to only receive them once every round starts and when it is my turn.
The email telling me that a new round has started lists all previous picks.
Perfect.

This capability thrills me. Hated the spam with every pick.

The night clock started a little after 9 PM, EST.
Not good.

I said this before.... doesn’t that make sense?
If my turn comes up at 9:01pm EST, do I not get 4 + 8 = 12 hours?

If your turn comes up at 9:01, your clock should go down to one minute, then the night clock starts to count down at 1 AM.
You would then have one minute to pick when the night clock is off or pick during the night clock.
If working your way, it would be almost 16 hours on the clock since there would be 4 hours on the front and 4 hours on the backside.
No team should benefit with extra time simply because they caught the night clock at the right time.
Time accrued before the night clock should be the starting point when the night clock countdown is done.
The night clock should start and stop every night at the same time. Consistency.

The night clock should not be part of your pick because it is within 4 hours.

This is probably why the night clock is starting so early.

A team can be on the clock for 16 hours with this system.
Nobody wants that.

One more thing About that night clock...
It goes to the number 12:00 for some reason and counts down...
Then, when somebody picks, it goes to 12:00 again and counts down again.
There is absolutely no significance other than to confuse folks for the 12:00 countdown

There should be a notice on chat that the night clock is on, along with how much time the current drafter has left in his turn.
A 'real countdown' on the night clock starting at 1 AM, EST is needed starting with 8:00 on the clock and counting down, no matter if there are picks made during the night or not.
If picks are made during the night, the drafter on the clock when the night countdown is done would have a 4:00 time frame to pick.

You sure that’s how it works? If my pick is at 9:01pm I have 3 hrs, 59 minutes til 1am, then 8 hours. At 9am I then have 1 minute left, not 4 more hours.

Anyone whose pick comes up between 9pm and 1am Eastern gets 12 hours to make their pick. At 1:01am the owner gets 11 hours and 59 minutes in max time and it works it’s way down to four hours again at 9am. So the following:

9pm - 1am: 12 hours
1am - 9am: 12 hours down to 4 hours
9am - 9pm: 4 hours

I’m not sure if this is what we intended, though, with that 12 hour max time.

No, I am not sure this is how it works because we're excited to draft at this time of year and night picks are being made.

What I DO know is that within four hours of when the night clock is SUPPOSED to start, it begins.
This turns off the drafters clock and shows the '12:00' counting down for the night clock.
I highly doubt that IT was sophisticated enough to keep BOTH the drafters clock AND the night clock counting down.
Either way, we don't get to see the drafters clock counting down. Which should be the clock still on display.

To insure the right thing is happening, the clock on the drafter should countdown till 1 AM when the night clock takes over.
Then, the drafter should have that amount of time when the night clock ends its countdown at 9 AM.
Transparency and consistency is the key here.
It should be noted in chat also so if the drafter on the clock was away, he knows how much time he has to draft in the morning if wanting to ponder his next choice.

As said, this is not a big problem right now. All drafters are blissfully drafting, if not fixed though, it will be a large problem later when abusers and folks who like to make others upset start drafting.
It could open a window for them to allow just eight hours of drafting a day.

If I am reading this wrong, Greg or somebody else can tell me I'm wrong.
I'd rather be wrong early than right when it's too late.
Maybe they can run a test.
During the test, have somebody make a pick shortly after 9 PM, EST , with no other picks made during the night, and see what the result is at 9 AM, EST.
If the drafter is given 4 hours at 9 AM, we have a problem. As is now, we don't know because the drafters clock is off when the last pick is made after 9 PM.
All that aside, it should be consistent with a 1 AM night clock.

So far, I have not been a drafter after 9 PM in the current draft.
If I am soon, I will test it myself.

As I stated yesterday, the draft room isn't supposed to pause at 9 pm ET. We'll get that changed and done right.

As for the 8 hour pause and if someone could take 12 hours for one pick, yes, that's possible. It's the tradeoff for allowing 4 hours per pick instead of 8 hours for every pick. We could lower the 8 hour Pause, but then it would be too early of a start for West Coast drafters. Hopefully nobody will take 8 hours and once we get the Pause time correct everyone will be diligent overnight and still make some picks.

We'll get it right. Thanks for the feedback.

at least all of the bugs should be worked out by the time i'm ready to join my first league. thanks early drafters!!! since i'm focusing only on DCs and cutlines this year, an improved draft room will be appreciated. 8-)

i see a 9 pack of cutlines is $1,000. are there any DC discount packs available? 8 for $1,000?

9:00 PM EST just hit DC3 and we're on the clock pause...thought this was supposed to pause from 0100-0900 EST

Paused on what? I just had my pick after 9pm and when it was on me it was counting down from 12 hours, as it should.

Dan, whoever is on the clock can still make their pick anytime they want. Same with the next guy and the one after that. Keep picking folks.

#22 - Another issue via phone:

Whenever you “personalize” a tab (say under Chat or Roster) the second I move away from that tab or something changes like a draft pick made, it reverts back to default settings.

Two examples:

Under Roster, if I minimize the Roster Tally and click away to something else, then click back, its maximized.
Under Chat, if I unclick “Draft Log” it doesn’t stay like that. I think once a draft pick is made it goes back to default settings.

And another....

When admin added Otani to the owners roster, the drafter on the clock had his countdown re-set to 4 hours.

We loaded in all of the rookies as well, so this should work out well for everyone.

I think you have to jump out of the draft room and back in to see all of the rookies and Otani in there now. If you don't see someone on the list that you guys provided let me know. But I think everyone is loaded now.

We chose not to hold up drafts for this on Friday, but unfortunately the net cause of this was that the clock got rolled back. Tell the guy on the clock to make his damn pick and we'll be good again!! Hopefully we won't see a Placeholder for awhile now as Otani was picked in two separate drafts as the only Placeholder so far.

Again, log out and back into the draft room to see the new additions. Thanks.
