I love baseball trivia questions. It's almost as enjoyable slapping myself in the head for forgetting a player as answering the question.
Here is the best question I have heard in a long time....

Name the six Hall of Famers who played exclusively during their careers for expansion teams....

Another wonderful trivia question presented to me this weekend...
I got the answer right....after 7 guesses!

Here is the question and please don't google or look it up first...What fun is that?

What player holds the all time record for home runs in one park and which park is it?

The answer is not Babe Ruth. He doesn't even hold the record for the house that he built.
Mickey Mantle slugged 266 homers at Yankee Stadium.
By the way, Mark Teixeira holds the record at 'new' Yankee Stadium with 113.
Aaron Juge should be targeting that record in a few years.
Of course, most home runs hit at any defunct baseball stadium are unbreakable records

If it's who I think it is (haven't verified), deduced from some logical process of elimination like

- likely won't be obvious, like Ted Williams or Mantle
- played their whole career on the same team, without opening a new park (eliminates guys like Griffey, Robinson, Bonds, Aaron)
- would help from a home park with a chance to boost homers

I think someone ought to get it.

That is the correct way of looking at it, Todd.

I had two private answers. Both were wrong.
Todd Helton did hit the most at Coors, but was not the answer.

Willie Mays did not hit the most home runs in Candlestick.
Candlestick had a usual 20 mph wind blowing from left to right, robbing Mays of many home runs.
Willie McCovey had the most home runs at Candlestick Park.

If you pulled the ball. The alleys were like a softball field with no fence. The dimensions remind of the place we played as a kid. Hit the ball into the woods and you were out. It was an easy shot and we didn't want to keep losing balls.

Musial played his career in an eight team league. His 3630 hits were spread evenly among most teams.
