Hang in there. We're hoping if all goes well this could be the week.2COR5:17 wrote:Hi guys. On the podcast Friday you mentioned you might launch ahead of schedule. I have my son-in-law all geeked up for his first NFBC draft. Any updates you can leak out to us?
Sorry, I was out of the office yesterday as our local high-school team played in the championship football game at state yesterday. Yes, your Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds (with my son on it!!) played at Madison yesterday and played their hearts out. But in the end they fell 35-12 to a state powerhouse to finish second in Division 6. What a great experience for this town of 1,300 -- of which more than that showed up in Madison -- to enjoy.fwicker wrote:Any update?
We do have a 10-day DL now if you're interested!! MLB started that last year and it was soooooooo well received by fantasy players. You'll be back playing before you know it.Big League Wood wrote:I have sprained my thumb refreshing this page.
Okay, so these are all of the folks who said they wanted to be in the first Draft Champions leagues. We will need everyone to first sign up on the new NFBC site once that is live. I will send an email out to everyone as soon as that happens with instructions on how to do that. Again, we have new Age Verification software and Location Verification software, so everyone has to go through this initially. If you already signed up for the NFFC this past season, you are good to go and can easily add this Draft Champions team. If this is your first time then sign up, have the software verify that you are at least 18 years old and in a non-exempt state and away we go. First 15 in will be drafting soon.DOUGHBOYS wrote:Sign me up!!!
It is not. The NFBC lobby is its own, but I'm sure in time we'll create links to easily transfer from one of our contest lobbies to another.2COR5:17 wrote:Will this be in the Fanball lobby?
You should look into the Cutline format. It is points-based as opposed to categories-based, but the format sets the optimal lineup for all teams so that there literally is no work after the draft except for a limited number of free agent pickups at designated times.lucko21 wrote:Any chance of getting a DC where the lineups set automatically for you like football. I know it is harder with the categories, but if there was some kind of program similar to ESPN player rater tool that would rank players and start them based on that. Maybe even give people all day Monday to override the previous week's lineup if they want or else it locks in place. Any way to have all the work over once the draft end would be awesome.
We have the NFBC Cutline Championship for optimal scoring. We are not planning any optimal scoring private leagues.lucko21 wrote:Any chance of getting a DC where the lineups set automatically for you like football.
