Junior Guerra on Opening Day. Kendall Graveman on Opening Day. Ricky Nolasco on Opening Day.

These are NOT oPENING dAY PITCHERS!
Stop the carnage! No wonder every hitter is going for home runs.
That is 20 percent of Opening Day pitchers listed above.
No wonder pitchers like Jered Weaver, Bronson Arroyo, and Clay Bucchholz are still here.
Seriously, these pitchers have no business going near a Big League mound, yet, they will be starting during the coming week.
It's a 'hanger on'ers year.

Really?
Bradley is that talented to look at a Bogaerts jump while processing a pitch hurtling almost 100 mph at him?
Incredible.
The broadcaster omitted the fact that the pitch was an unhittable ball.
Ugh.

He did not look like Greg Holland.
His owners are going to get a couple of those 1/3 inn, 5 ER lines.

Bryce Harper always looks so hitterish on Opening Day.
Five years in a row with a homer on Opening Day.
One year, his attention span, afterwards, lasted the whole year.

Is anybody else tired of the beards?
I feel like buying Smith Bros cough drops when watching games.

Looked up opening day 1970. Such legends like Gary Peters (redsox),Wally Bunker (royals),Lewis Krausse (brewers),Jim Merritt (reds),Joe Sparma (Expos),and Pat Dobson (padres) were the starting pitchers. Those were the days.

From 1982 to 1988, Rick Mahler (who was as pretty as his fastball was fast) was the Braves starter five times.....



Funny thing was he won the first four by a combined score of 19-0.

Good stuff, although Peters and Dobson had pretty nice careers.
