Betts to platoon?

Post by Deadheadz » Sun Mar 20, 2016 8:38 am

While scanning the latest positional comparisons over at Roster Resource this morning I came across the Boston Red Sox platoon of Betts vs righties and Chris Young vs lefties.

This suggests Betts may not get full time AB and casts a shadow of doubt on his projected season totals, for me anyway.

I'm really hoping this is just someone's speculation and not what the BoSox are really planning to do. Has anyone who's been following the team more closely heard of this being the likely scenario for 2016?

Baloney - not sure why you would even consider that as reliable information

Knowledge of the person updating their draft charts at RR is probably on same level as rotoworld player capsule "analyst". Or, college intern fitting in "fantasy work" between beer and Xbox. Do your own work or be a sheep and FAIL

We almost made it an entire baseball pre-season before the specter of this idiot reared his ugly head. Making up for lost time apparently. Move along, nothing to see here.

Roster resource is crap IMO. I refuse to spend money on their data so I wouldn't know if you are telling the truth or not but no one and I mean NO ONE believes that Mookie is going to platoon with anyone. Bradley will be the one who sits against some tough lefties. But you go and believe anything RR has to say and keep avoiding Mookie. Its the right thing to do.

I just checked Roster Resource. It shows Bradley platooning with Young, and Betts playing full time. Much ado about nothing.

It's called being baited into responding to a post by a moron who is in desperate need of attention. This thread should have been ignored the minute it went up.

Remember in January when people were asking, "How many starting pitchers do the Dodgers need?"

Turns out the answer was more than that.
