NFBC Mid-Season Leagues

Just a heads up and an explanation as to why we didn't run any NFBC Mid-Season Leagues this year. In the past there was a lot of interest in these "Second Chance" leagues, but last year we had only two leagues and this year we just got so busy with other projects that we let this item fall through the cracks. The proliferation of daily fantasy baseball leagues also seems to have filled the void in July, August, and September where we used to fill that.

Anyway, if we're wrong on not offering these this year, let us know. We really didn't hear from too many folks who wanted these. Maybe we should have gone with a DC second half format instead. That might have been interesting. I always loved the Don Mathis League, but that one also didn't fill the last couple of years.

Thanks for any and all feedback. If we don't run any of these Mid-Season Leagues this year, then the first drafts of 2014 will start after the World Series when we unveil the NFBC Draft Champions Leagues. Our goal is to get them out even earlier this year and get you folks drafting right after the World Series. Sound good?
