Live Scoring Multiple Leagues/Navigation

I love that idea! Navigating through 5 teams every day is a pain. I'm sure the owners with even more teams would really enjoy it.

Milledge Sent Down

I, too, am a Milledge owner and I'm glad they sent him down! I have him in 1 league, but I have Dukes in 2. ;)

YTD stat shortcomings

I'm in agreement on Morneau and Ludwick. I think Bruce will get his HR's - whether or not his BA comes with it is up in the air.

YTD stat shortcomings

I ran your team for fun and came up with almost 20 more HR and almost 20 more SB than GG, but with a 3 or 4 point lower BA and slightly fewer R/RBI. Probably the same overall outcome for hitting points. However it does seem to be a balanced offense in respect to the categories so you probably could ...

Mark Reynolds steals 6th base in spring training.....

Good luck! But don't forget, too, that even though Reynolds has this "upside" that Arizona has a crowded team and Reynolds is a horrible fielder - I believe he led the league in errors last season and doesn't look to be doing any better this spring. If he starts slow at the plate I could definitely ...

Mark Reynolds steals 6th base in spring training.....

Swing and Miss (career): Reynolds - 36% Cust - 34% Dunn - 28% That's kind of alarming, isn't it? I like Reynolds and have him on several teams and hope that Crazy is right, but he's still someone that you should probably project to drag your BA down and plan accordingly. If he doesn't drag it down, ...

How much is too much?

I'm in 5 NFBC satellite leagues and after the last draft I started to wonder how I was planning on winning all these leagues with so many different players rostered on each team. I think it's possible with there being so many ways to "skin a cat" but I don't know how probable it is. I did notice, th...

Presenting YOUR_$100,000_Team!

I should clarify my statement before I get beaten down by the crowd.

According to Roto Times Player Rater 24 of the Top 50 Starting Pitchers, according to their final 2008 stats, were selected, on average, between picks 210 and 450 during the 2008 NFBC Main Event Draft.

SP categories i don't estimate. that's the easiest categories to manipulate. That's why I didn't give you my opinion on your pitching staff. People's projections differ so much in regard to pitchers that it's almost pointless for anyone to say your pitching is good or bad. It is what you think it i...

I see the 280+ HR with my projections, and I sure thought mine were on the conservative side, too.

GG, I'm curious what your actual projections are for each of the 10 cats for your team? Are you thinking you'll have more than the 150 SB's that I see?

I agree with that. In one league last year I drafted Pence 2nd, Cano 3d, Weeks 4th, Zimmerman 5th, Delmon Young 6th....and still managed to win the league!

Eli, is that response to Gordon? Yes.

Its jump or miss out from the 2-hole. This is true. I haven't had to draft from a corner spot yet this year, but I have in years past and it can be troublesome if you plan on waiting on anyone.

Looks like you jumped on a lot of guys early, but if those are "your" guys and you had them in your plans it's probably better to jump on them then wait and miss out. Overall, I do like your team. I show about 280-290 HR with 150 SB, so the offense is well balanced. Unfortunately a huge chuck of you...

Comments on my team from #8?

wow kinsler and hardy and the middle infield is weak. some tough graders here I also was thinking the same thing. With two guys who have averaged 22 HR's each for the last two years it seems like a good start at MI to me. And the problem at MI isn't Betancourt and Castillo. The problem with the tea...

My Team from 6

One of the better offenses I think I've seen posted. Although, I'm not a fan of your catcher combo. And I think you've taken on quite a bit of risk with your squad as a whole - not that risk isn't a good thing, it's just a thing to be aware of. SB's seem to be your weakest cat, but the others should...

DOES THIS TEAM STAND A CHANCE ?

Nope. My honest opinion is that you accepted far too much risk in a league with no in season FAAB. Your team looks to fall short of every hitting category target. I'd say if you get 4 or 5 points in each category that would be more than reasonable. If something happens to either of your only two SB ...

My Outfield...is it that bad?

Thanks for the comments. We weren't real happy with Gomez either, but we were lacking SB's at the time and we figured he'd get us to our targets so we grabbed him. Last year we were able to win a satellite league with only 4 points in SV's due to having only one closer. In fact, we've drafted 3 sate...

Will ARod be picked in the 1st round?

For what it's worth (probably not much) AROD was drafted 11th in the 1st round of my satellite draft tonight.

But there were some other extremely weird picks during the draft, so I wasn't surprised really.

Chris Young

Carlos Gomez

Lastings Milledge

My Dad and I drafted this team and he didn't like our outfield. Other than the potential BA dud I don't think it's that bad.

What do you guys think?
