Re: CUTLINE stats are incorrect

Ditto - McCullers. He was shown as a DL'd player pregame, but pitched 5 innings, 8K's and a win. Only 1 ER. Has to be more than a ZERO.

Re: Why the CUTLINE needs to become a season long contest

It sounds like The Train would like to see some sort of optimal scoring DC league. That would be a different concept and not what this format is all about. In this format, half the teams have a shot at bigger money and half get "folded" away at the AllStar break. That's when the "cuts" as in "cutlin...

Re: Looking For Feedback On NFBC Cutline Rules

I like this format and like the two FAAB weeks rule. With the 10 day DL in play, I had that little red cross next to 12 or more players at once for several weeks. Even drafting 15 pitchers I was able to fill only 7 for a couple of weeks; less than that when any of the 7 scored negative points.

Re: Cutline League Standings 5/7/17

I am also a bit puzzled. I looked at my standings in the league this morning and they total exactly the number of points I should have if I add each weekly "stats" used from week 1 through the current period, week 7 (total of 3229). But, even before a pitch is thrown today, my "live scoring" for the...

Re: CUTLINE NEEDS TO BE RE-RUN

It looks like the standings on your team page and overall are a couple of days behind. However, if you hit "live scoring" and look at the standings on that page's tab for standings, it is up to date. Very odd.

Re: Prizes To Go Out On Friday

If they wire direct deposits today they should be seen in your account tomorrow, not Monday. We wire money constantly to vendors and customers to us often of Friday afternoons. Account activity hits the books on Saturdays. Happy days will be here soon enough.

Thanks Greg. You guys have always been on top of payments and I am looking forward to getting mine soon. Do you have any idea when the insurance company you use issues payments to those of us who paid in cash and were "lucky" enough to insure the right guy? I know that is out of your control, but ma...

Re: Most Surprising Pitchers to you?

No surprise here. First time I drafted Kershaw. 2 wins to date. 4.32 ERA and 1.23 WHIP. Getting a lot of K's at least. Not nearly as unhittable and you would want taking him 5th overall.

Re: FREE Insurance For Mains If You Pay By Check

I did not get a "certificate" for my Primetime Insured player, Adam Wainwright, but I did get an email from Greg confirming him as my designated player. Not sure the certificate is necessary or not. Losing Wainwright for the rest of the season will hurt, but a check 60 days after the season ends wil...

He entered a 50-50 contest and then "thought" he copied and entered the $10,000 contest. Later he found out he never confirmed the second contest. All he won was his 50-50 game. Ouch.

Re: Accounting Issue/Question

I doubt you can add lottery losses (a form of gambling) to NFBC winnings. That said, keep in mind, you have to be able to "itemize" your deductions to get any offset of costs. If someone is taking the "standard" deduction then they are paying taxes on full "gross" winnings and not able to deduct any...

Re: Accounting Issue/Question

I process the deduction the same way. Basically as a "hobby expense" but it is subjected to a deduction after 2% of my adjusted gross income. So, effectively, you don't get dollar for dollar spent on the deduction side. Feel free to add in costs of sites you pay for, travel expenses and perhaps even...

I will play next week for sure. If you play fantasy football with the NFFC they are running a promo. Deposit $50 in Fan Duel and get $100 off your NFFC team of choice. No brainer if you do football. Play the $50 you deposit here at $10 a week for 5 weeks and still save $100 on your football team. Sw...
