Friday postponements

Today’s Tigers/Twins game has already been cancelled. The set lineup page shows no game scheduled today between those two teams. Does this mean we have an extra day to decide on Detroit and Minnesota players for a postponed game?

Re: Las Vegas Spring Training Games

Better yet, CATCH a Golden Knight game. It is not your ordinary expansion franchise. Critics will tell you expansion rules were too lenient that they created an instant Stanley Cup contender! And the people of Vegas say thank you to those haters. We also thank Mark Davis hiring Jon Gruden...Chucky’s...

Definitely will help considering the Sunday night lockouts (last two years) due to other NFBC products having a Sunday 10pm eastern time FAAB deadline.

Re: How About A $100,000 Grand Prize In The NFBC Cutline?

[quote="Greg Ambrosius"] I don't see people drafting Cutlines early in the drafting season without FAAB. I believe you can add individuals not drafting early because of NO league prizes. If I’m competing for ONLY overall prizes, why would I draft early and end up with multiple injuries on my roster ...

in regards to league 4965, LoanSharx has no impact in the league with Anthony Rizzo playing middle infield. He has enough multi position players whereby Rizzo is a 1bman, Matt Olson moves to the OF and Jose Ramirez moves to middle infield.

Re: Looking For Feedback On NFBC Cutline Rules

Really liked the format this year. My only suggestion to save time would be to have an drop down box to make an entire group of bids the same amount. Seems like that should be a quick fix. Please keep the 2 FAAB periods. This is a must for the new IT team. Having 20+ contingency bids and they are a...

Re: Looking For Feedback On NFBC Cutline Rules

Here's my question for those in this contest: How many players did you replace in June because of injuries on top of the two free roster additions? Was it 5 or more? If not, then maybe we could go FAAB-less, but I'd love to know that number. Thanks. I averaged 3.5 pickups beyond the 2 add-ons. Of c...

Re: Looking For Feedback On NFBC Cutline Rules

I think entries will go down if the cutline turns into a no-faab contest. I don't see owners drafting in December/January and being stuck with players on their roster due to an unfortunate death (Yordano Ventura) or season ending TJS (Alex Reyes). Personally, a no-faab cutline will limit me to March...

Re: NFBC Cutline Championship FAAB Deadline: Monday 10 ET

I believe we had this problem last year. Logging into Cutline FAAB, it reads today @ 10pm (eastern) is the deadline. I (we) know that the deadline is tomorrow. The problem may be that we will be locked out from making our bids overnight and into tomorrow morning. This page was loaded at 08:26 PM ET,...

Congrats Jon and Robert!!! A terrific weekend following live scoring; especially, the final game. Jon's Hanley Ramirez with two bombs, Robert's Gary Sanchez with his rocket and unfortunately my Mookie/Xander combo did not come through for me. We all three had first place during the last day. Re: Win $40,000 In The 2016 NFBC Cutline Championship

Bidding Time Frame: There are only two free agent time periods in the NFBC Cutline: FAAB 1: Monday, April 11 FAAB 2: Monday, June 6 Greg, why not add a third FAAB to accommodate the replies that have been posted. Majority do not want 4 FAAB periods. A few of the posts mentioned that they want the la...

Hi Greg, Requesting a couple games to be added to your list: 1) With the success of the auctions, can you add a TWELVE TEAM SUPER AUCTION on Sunday, March 29th @ 1pm (Bellagio). This added game will not impact the PRIMETIME game as there is one that day @ 10am. Sign me up first! 2) With no cutline t...

Re: Is a $100,000 auction championship possible?

I'd prefer a $100K Auction Championship to the Primetime being a $100K contest
Maybe you can please both types of players by offering 12 team auctions. It creates more leagues and possibly generate the interest for $100k grand prize.

Re: Possible NFBC Cutline Championship In 2014

KJ, I see your point and it makes sense. Certain teams/leagues may have an unfair advantage overall whereby only 2 teams make bids on the hot new players in one league and in another league all 10 teams make bids to hurt the top 2 teams. I would say that Greg has it well planned out. I backtrack on ...

Re: Possible NFBC Cutline Championship In 2014

KJ, I did a double check and show otherwise. If we stay with the 12th week being final FAAB period, it would land on Sunday June 22nd. If I read Greg's post right, playoffs start after the All Star Break on Friday July 18th.

Re: Possible NFBC Cutline Championship In 2014

Easy adjustment possibly for all. Scratch my idea of the 4th FAAB period; but, stretch out the 3 FAAB periods every 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Therefore, the third FAAB period lands on the Sunday prior to the All Star break. This again will provide more emphasis on draft day than in-season manageme...

Re: Possible NFBC Cutline Championship In 2014

Greg, your first thoughts seem to be to my liking. 2 minor tweaks: I would prefer less rounds drafted (40 max) and one more round of FAAB. Add a 4th FAAB period on the Sunday prior to the All Star break leading into the playoff schedule. After reading all these posts; surprisingly, no one has mentio...
