I don't understand how you pass on a healthy Soriano and Carlos Lee to take A-Rod... I'd love to hear your how you justify that. I can't see him putting up numbers anywhere near those 2 guys considering he is out at least 4 weeks and when he does come back he will have a bum wheel with no at bats......

Actually, Reggie Sanders was well on his way to 30/30 before he acquired his yearly injury.

I believe CCs has it right: A pitcher or hitter with no MLB experience won't be eligible until they actually play in a game.
